Sunil Desai is a highly respected professional known for his remarkable contributions to international trade, entrepreneurship, and youth empowerment. Holding a Doctorate in Management Studies earned in 2012, he combines strong academic excellence with deep industry understanding.

Sunil’s educational path began at Karnataka University Public School, Dharwad, and continued through J.T. College, Gadag. Driven by his passion for business and commerce, he pursued higher studies in Pune, Maharashtra, where he completed his Commerce degree and earned an MBA (Dual Specialization) from Pune University in 2006.

In 2020, he founded Indipureexim Karnataka, a movement focused on empowering Kannada ಉದ್ಯಮಿಗಳು (entrepreneurs) with the skills and tools needed to succeed in the export-import sector. Over the past few years, Indipureexim Karnataka has trained more than ten thousand ಯುವಕರು(youth), promoting the spirit of ಸಮೂಹ ಪ್ರಗತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹಭಾಗಿತ್ವ (collective progress and participation).

More than a training initiative, Indipureexim offers complete guidance to help aspiring entrepreneurs start their own trade businesses at no cost. Many have successfully established ventures not only in Karnataka but also internationally in Dubai, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine.

ಇಂಡಿಪ್ಯೂರ್ ಎಕ್ಸಿಂ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕವು ಮಹಿಳೆಯರಿಗಾಗಿ ಉಚಿತ ಆನ್‌ಲೈನ್ ವೃತ್ತಿ ತರಬೇತಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡ ಒದಗಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ತರಬೇತಿಗಳು ಮಸಾಲೆ ತಯಾರಿಕೆ, ಧೂಪದ ಕಡ್ಡಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ, ಸ್ಯಾನಿಟೈಸರ್ ಉತ್ಪಾದನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಬೇಕಿಂಗ್‌ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವು ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿವೆ. ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯು ರಾಜ್ಯದಾದ್ಯಂತ 60ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ತಯಾರಿಕಾ ಘಟಕಗಳಿಗೆ ಇಂಪೋರ್ಟ್-ಎಕ್ಸ್ಪೋರ್ಟ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತರಬೇತಿ ನೀಡಿದೆ.

Its continuous efforts have strengthened Karnataka’s economic base by establishing India’s first import-export cooperative society dedicated to raitaru (farmers) and small producers. This cooperative has created employment opportunities and expanded channels for ಕೃಷಿ ಉತ್ಪಾದನೆ (agricultural products) exports.

Sunil Desai personally travels to different districts to interact with entrepreneurs and understand their challenges. Under his leadership, Indipureexim Karnataka now manages over 100 tones of exports every month, contributing significantly to national economic growth.

Twice a year, the organization conducts ರಫ್ತು ಅನುಭವ ಶಿಬಿರ (Export Experience Camp), giving participants real-time practical exposure to export processes. Sunil considers these events a seva (service) to society and offers them completely free of charge.
